Aberdeen Training Centre

Montrose Training Centre

Montrose

  • 8 impressive and specially designed fire modules, including helideck module and accommodation block
  • 2 purpose built emergency management training simulators
  • 1km long, 10" diameter, 150 class pipeline training, testing & research facility
  • A 3,000ft deep, fully functional well with typical offshore completion string and ancillary equipment

Emergency Response Service Centre (ERSC)

ERSC

Location: Marine House, Aberdeen, Scotland

Staff: 9 Emergency Response Operators (ERO's)

Rooms: Incident Management room, Relative and Media Response rooms, Business support room

Provision:

Launched March 2006 to provide multiple North Sea operators with 24/7 access to dedicated professional emergency response services
Portfolio covers all training needed to respond effectively to every aspect of an emergency

Key benefits:

Integrated and co-ordinated response with the emergency services, including MCA, police and fire services
Close liaison with industry regulators
Reduces the need for in-house training and response services and therefore reduces costs Uses robust and resilient technology
