Dons fans working in the oil and gas sector are in for a treat as Aberdeen legend Russell Anderson takes to the pitch once more to support the second annual Petrofac Training Corporate Cup.

In partnership with the AFC Community Trust and completely free to enter, this 7-a-side tournament is set to take place on Saturday 20 February 2016 at Aberdeen Sports Village.

Russell will be there on the day to offer teams valuable coaching advice and tips, as the squads battle it out for a chance at the ultimate prize of lifting the Petrofac Corporate Cup at the Petrofac Training Cup Final 2016 between Rangers and Peterhead.

Russell said: “The Petrofac Corporate Cup is a great event for businesses in the Aberdeen area, and gives people an opportunity to get active, play some football with their colleagues and raise money and awareness for the AFC Community Trust.

“I’m really looking forward to going along on the day to give the teams some coaching tips, and to support such a worthwhile cause. Aberdeen is where I started my football career twenty years ago, and I’m delighted that my role within Aberdeen FC and the Community Trust has enabled me to support this event.”

Jill Tough, Petrofac Training Services Marketing Manager, said: “This is a great opportunity for a business team to lift a trophy at a national Cup Final.

“Petrofac Training is passionate about engaging with football fans across the country, and we’re delighted to be working in partnership with Aberdeen FC Community Trust once again to deliver what will be a special occasion with an incredible reward.
