Baku Operations Manager

Role

To take day to day operational responsibility within the PTI Baku team for the effective management of the companies Baku operation. Ensuring the application of both the delivery and commercial processes used within the PT team. Work closely with Regional Manger to achieve budget forecast on turnover, profit and loss. Maintain a high quality approach to the provision of training both at PT Baku locations and also at any third party external facilities used by PT. Identify and develop new business opportunities

Key Result Areas

- Proactively manage Baku business unit and take responsibility for the successful operation of the same.
- Proactively manage the HSSE requirements of the Baku operation supported by the local HSE advisor (already in place).
- Manage and support the administration functions to ensure accurate training records are maintained and commercial process followed.
- Liaise with and have regular communication with client company contacts and build effective working relationships.
- Work closely with Regional Manager to ensure budget expectations are met.
- Provide clients with appropriate information and follow up any training enquiries. Liaise with commercial support to supply clients with relevant proposal/quotation.
- Assist with the development of new material and the updating of existing material.
- Manage the local delivery team involved with the various training events taking place in Baku.
- Ensure the company’s reputation for quality of provision is maintained.
- Manage contracts already in place and identify where new contracts could be established.
- Provide support to any special project with regard to training delivery or project management.
- Attend operations meetings when requested, and participate as required in company’s performance review meetings.
- Provide assistance with any other duties relevant to this post.
